SharePoint Concierge Webinar 10-30-26: Smarter Structure – Clearer Context – and AI-Driven Knowledge in Microsoft 365
On October 30, 2025, the dataBridge team hosted a SharePoint Concierge webinar focused on three powerful capabilities shaping the future of SharePoint and Microsoft 365: scalable hub architecture, organizational visibility, and AI-driven knowledge management.
This session explored how modern organizations can design SharePoint to scale, help employees find the right people faster, and use AI to improve content quality and structure.
Below is a recap of each topic covered—and why it matters.
Design Scalable SharePoint Architecture with Nested Hubs
Leona Winter led a deep dive into nesting hubs in SharePoint, a capability that enables organizations to create multi-level site architectures without sacrificing governance or navigation clarity.
The session covered:
- What nested hubs are and how they work
- When nesting hubs makes sense—and when it doesn’t
- How nested hubs improve navigation and content discovery
- Governance considerations for hub-to-hub relationships
Hayden and Michael added real-world context, highlighting use cases for:
- Multi-location organizations
- Merged or acquired companies
- Complex departmental or regional structures
The key takeaway: nested hubs allow SharePoint to scale with the organization—if they’re designed intentionally.
Visualize Your Organization with the Org Explorer App
Ken Lewis introduced the new Org Explorer app, showing how it brings organizational clarity directly into Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
During the demo, Ken explained how Org Explorer:
- Pulls organizational data from Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Active Directory
- Visualizes reporting relationships and team structures
- Integrates with Teams, SharePoint profiles, and Outlook
- Enhances employee search and discovery
This tool helps employees quickly understand who’s who, how teams are structured, and where people sit within the organization—without relying on outdated org charts.
Improve SharePoint Content with the Knowledge Agent
Dylan Skinner wrapped up the session with an introduction to the Knowledge Agent in SharePoint, now available in preview for users with Copilot licenses.
Dylan demonstrated how the Knowledge Agent uses AI to:
- Identify opportunities to improve site structure
- Assist with content creation and refinement
- Organize document libraries more effectively
- Recommend metadata and classification improvements
While still in preview, this feature points toward a future where AI and Copilot help organizations maintain clean, usable, and well-governed SharePoint environments—as long as the foundation is sound.
Why This Webinar Matters
Across all three topics, a consistent theme emerged:
Great SharePoint experiences start with structure, visibility, and intentional design.
Nested hubs, organizational insights, and AI-powered tools are only as effective as the architecture and governance that support them. When those foundations are in place, SharePoint becomes easier to navigate, easier to manage, and far more valuable to the business.
